Use Templates

Reuse a trusted article structure or set of preferences without starting from scratch.

What this is

Templates save repeatable article choices such as structure, style, and default preferences. They speed up similar work while still letting you adjust the individual article.

Before you start

  • Select the client whose template you want to use.
  • Know whether the template should use shared client defaults or a website-specific override.

Step-by-step

  1. Step 1

    Open Article Studio

Choose Article Studio and select the client and website for the new article.

    Open Article Studio
  2. Step 2

    Choose a template

Select a template that matches the article type you are creating, such as a guide, comparison, or service page.

  3. Step 3

    Review the applied choices

Check the article settings before generating. A template saves time, but the topic, audience, and current website may need a small adjustment.

  4. Step 4

    Generate and improve

Generate the draft, then edit it for factual accuracy, brand fit, and the specific purpose of the article.

Common questions

Will a template change my client defaults?+

No. A template applies saved preferences to the article you are creating; client and website settings remain their own configuration.

Can I edit after applying a template?+

Yes. Templates are a starting point. Change any article-specific option before you generate.
